Sam has been learning Japanese for 20 years and strives to work effectively with others to compliment their creative endeavours. After teaching Japanese for 8 years he branched out into translation and began Kurono Studios.

Miyuka is one of our native Japanese linguists, specializing in both English-to-Japanese and Japanese-to-English translation. She ensures every project reads with natural fluency, cultural authenticity, and precision, helping our team deliver translations that truly resonate with native speakers.

Translator (Chinese)

Bai, who grew up in China and now resides in London, offers a distinctive cross-cultural insight into translation. With a background in Advertising and a degree in Anthropology from University College London, she works in the creative industry as an editor and writer, dedicated to producing translations that are precise and culturally nuanced.

Translator (Indonesian)

She began as an English-Indonesian novel translator before earning her degree at Yogyakarta State University in Dec 2024. Soon after, she moved into digital localization for software and websites. Her love of interactive storytelling led her to game translation, joining Kurono Studios in July 2025. A passionate gamer, she enjoys AAA, simulation, and story-rich games, especially MOBA.

Brazilian native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese, passionate about communication and skilled in writing, arts, and proofreading. Studied English and now works in game translation and content creation, running a YouTube channel focused on animal games.

Sophia is a native Russian speaker who has spoken English fluently all her life. A hobbyist artist and gamer, she enjoys simulators, platformers, survival, action-adventure, and MOBA titles, with deep knowledge of internet culture, PR, and communication. After localising her childhood favorite WolfQuest, she strives to deliver accurate, high-quality game translations.
